Legacy Mode uses our original image generation approach, which requires each character to be trained before it can generate images.
Training availability:
- True Supporter — can train public characters
- I'm All In — can also train private characters
Unless you specifically want Legacy Mode, turn it off. Our current models don't need training at all and work with any character straight away.
To turn it off:
- Chat window → three dots menu
- Generation Settings → Image Settings
- Turn off the Legacy Mode toggle
- Select any available model
If you can't generate images on a particular character, Legacy Mode being switched on is a likely cause.
