Prepaid Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards work for a one-time purchase, but they don’t support recurring payments. A subscription bought with one will typically go through the first time and then fail at renewal.
If you want to keep using a prepaid card, cancel the existing subscription each time and buy a new one manually when it expires.
For a subscription that renews reliably, use a standard debit or credit card.
