We determine your region from your current connection (IP address), not from your billing details or where you signed up.
If you don't verify, you can still use SpicyChat — but NSFW content won't be accessible until you do. This includes SFW conversations with characters that are tagged NSFW.
You only need to do this once. Verification is tied to your account, not your device, so once verified you're verified everywhere you sign in. A small number of jurisdictions require periodic re-verification.
