Animals and the Harkness Test

Every character in a scenario involving consent must be capable of giving consent. For non-human characters, we apply the Harkness Test — a fiction convention for whether a non-human character is sentient enough to consent.

In practice:

• Anthropomorphic characters — human-like form, human intelligence, able to communicate and reason — are fine
• Non-anthropomorphic animals are not. This includes pets, wild animals, and any animal not in a human-like form.
• This applies to avatars as well as text. An avatar containing a non-human animal will be flagged even if the character's description is fine

If your character was removed for this, use a humanoid version of the design. A fully anthropomorphic character passes; a four-legged animal doesn't.

Bestiality content is prohibited outright

 Exception: Only animals used as mount are allowed in avatar.
