"Oops! Something went wrong" when sending a message

Several possible causes.

If it happens on one specific character, the character is likely the issue — see article 6.4, as the same content checks apply in chat.

If it happens in one specific chat, try cloning the conversation (article 8.7) and continuing from the clone.

If it happens everywhere, work through article 8.1, then:

• Switch AI model and try again (article 4.10)
• Check your formatting — avoid heavy combinations of asterisks and parentheses in one message, and avoid "word.Word" with no space (article 4.13)
• Turn off any translation tool — see article 8.3

To help us diagnose it, tell us:

• When it started
• Whether it happens at the start of chats or only once they're long
• Whether there were any unusual characters in your message
• Which tier and model you're on
• Whether it errors immediately or after loading for a while
• Whether you're using a VPN
• Ideally a short screen recording
