Why is my character marked NSFW (or SFW)?

The NSFW/SFW categorisation is automatic, and it determines where a character appears on the front page.

All characters can engage in NSFW roleplay regardless of category — the tag affects discovery, not capability.

If you think your character is categorised wrongly, report it and a moderator will adjust it.

If characters aren't appearing for you, check whether NSFW content is turned off in your profile settings — it's called Safe Search on the app. This is the most common reason characters seem to be missing.
