Try this first — it fixes most cases:
- Sign out completely and sign back in. Your session needs to pick up the new entitlement.
- Clear your browser cache if you’re on desktop.
- On the Android app, check for an update at spicychat.ai/apps/android.
Check you paid on the right account. Paying while signed out, or while signed in to a second account, is the most common real cause. If your subscription is on a different account from the one you’re using, contact us — we can migrate it.
One-time payments take longer than card payments
Card payments activate almost immediately. One-time methods don’t:
- Pay by Bank can take up to 24 hours, and longer over a weekend.
- Cryptocurrency and local one-time methods are automated, but they can time out at the provider’s end even though you’ve been charged.
If a one-time payment has timed out, send us:
- The receipt or proof of payment
- The transaction ID
- The date, amount and method
We’ll pass it to the payment processor for manual approval. This usually takes up to 48 hours from the point we have your details — the delay is at the processor’s end, not ours, and we’ll come back to you as soon as it clears.
Check whether the payment actually completed. A pending authorisation on your statement isn’t a completed payment — see article 3.14.
