Start here — the steps that fix most problems

Before anything else, work through these. They resolve the large majority of issues.

1. Check whether it's just you. We post live updates during any incident on our Discord — that's the fastest place to find out whether something is down.

2. Hard refresh. Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac.

3. Sign out and back in. Fixes anything caused by a stale session — including missing subscription benefits and verification status not updating.

4. Clear cache and cookies for the site, then restart your browser.

5. Update the app. On Android, get the current build from spicychat.ai/apps/android. We ship updates roughly weekly, and outdated versions are behind a genuinely large share of reported bugs.

6. Turn off VPNs, ad blockers and privacy extensions. These interfere with sign-in, age verification, payments and image loading.

7. Try a different browser. We recommend an up-to-date Chrome — SpicyChat relies on features that older browsers don't fully support.

8. Try a different network — switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out an ISP restriction.
